How we work

Every engagement follows a structured process designed to build a shared understanding, reduce uncertainty, and move from complex requirements to a practical solution. The scope and duration may vary, but the work typically progresses through four stages.

1. Assimilation and Discovery

Duration: 1–2 weeks

We begin by learning how your business, organization, and technology operate. We meet with the relevant stakeholders, review the existing system architecture, explore the codebase and data model, and identify the problems that have the greatest effect on your organization.

This stage helps us understand:

  • Your business objectives and expectations

  • Your users, teams, and internal processes

  • Your current applications, services, databases, and infrastructure

  • The structure and condition of your codebase

  • Your data model and information flows

  • Existing integrations and external dependencies

  • Operational pain points and unmet needs

  • Technical, organizational, and human blockers

  • Security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability concerns

  • Immediate risks and opportunities for improvement

Deliverable: A detailed assessment report documenting our findings, risks, constraints, opportunities, and recommended priorities.

2. Solution and Roadmap

Duration: 1–2 weeks

Using the findings from the discovery stage, we create an actionable plan for the development phase. We define what should be built, improved, integrated, or repaired and determine the people, technology, and infrastructure required to deliver it.

The roadmap may include:

  • Product features and functional requirements

  • Proposed system architecture

  • Application, service, and database changes

  • Third-party integrations

  • Technical fixes and modernization work

  • Infrastructure and deployment requirements

  • Required roles, skills, and resources

  • Dependencies, risks, and sequencing

  • Milestones and measurable outcomes

  • Sprint objectives and expected deliverables

  • Testing, release, and support plans

Deliverable: A documented development roadmap organized into milestones and sprints, with priorities, dependencies, estimated timelines, and clearly defined outcomes.

3. Development and Delivery

Duration: Based on the approved roadmap

We execute the roadmap through a series of focused development sprints. Each sprint addresses a defined set of objectives and produces working, reviewable results. Progress, discoveries, risks, and changes are communicated throughout the engagement so the roadmap can evolve when new information emerges.

Depending on the project, deliverables may include:

  • Production-ready source code

  • Web or internal applications

  • Backend services and APIs

  • AI-powered tools and workflows

  • Data pipelines and automated processes

  • Database schemas and migrations

  • Third-party integrations

  • Cloud infrastructure

  • Deployment and CI/CD pipelines

  • Technical documentation

Deliverables: Working software and supporting technical assets completed incrementally according to the roadmap.

4. Validation, Launch, and Support

Duration: Based on the project and support needs

After feature development is complete, we focus on preparing the solution for release and dependable operation. We validate the complete system, resolve remaining issues, support deployment, and confirm that the delivered solution meets the agreed requirements.

This stage may include:

  • End-to-end and acceptance testing

  • Performance and reliability checks

  • Final defect resolution

  • Production deployment

  • Monitoring and operational verification

  • Documentation and knowledge transfer

  • Team training

  • Post-launch support

  • Planning for future improvements

Deliverables: A validated production release, final documentation, knowledge transfer, and an agreed support or maintenance plan.
